How to ask

Email support@wrapscribe.com from the address you bought with, and include your payment id. A subject line of “Refund” is plenty — there is no form.

Your payment id is on the confirmation page you landed on after checkout, and in the receipt Dodo Payments emailed you. It looks something like pay_1a2b3c…. If you cannot find it, send us the email address you paid with and roughly when, and we will find the order ourselves.

What happens next

• We reply to every refund email. If you have not heard back within two working days, something went wrong — write again.
• The refund is processed through Dodo Payments, who took the payment as merchant of record. It goes back to the card or account you paid with; we cannot send it anywhere else.
• Once Dodo processes it, banks usually take another five to ten working days to show the money. That part is out of everyone’s hands.
• Your licence key stops working once the refund is issued, and any Macs it activated are deactivated. Nothing on those Macs is touched — your history, dictionary and snippets live locally and stay exactly where they are.

After the fourteen days

Write to us anyway. The window is a promise, not a shutter. If WrapScribe will not run on your Mac, if something we shipped broke it, or if you were charged for something you did not mean to buy, we would far rather fix it or refund it than leave you sitting on software you cannot use.

Before you file a chargeback

Please just email us. A chargeback takes weeks, costs everyone money, and ends with the same refund you would have had in a day. If we have your money and you do not want us to, say so and it goes back.

WrapScribe is free to download and will show you exactly what it is — the install, the permissions, the overlay, the machine it wants to run on — before a key ever changes hands. If you are on the fence about whether your Mac is up to it, download first: it needs macOS 26 (Tahoe) on Apple silicon, and the app will tell you straight away if it is not.
