No. Audio and transcripts never leave your Mac — there is no endpoint on our side that accepts them. Activating WrapScribe creates an account, and that account holds your email, a name for each Mac, per-day word and dictation counts, and your preferences. Nothing else.
WrapScribe is built on SpeechAnalyzer, the speech framework Apple introduced in macOS 26 (Tahoe). It's the reason transcription is both fast and fully on-device, and it doesn't exist on earlier versions — so there's no way to support them.
Yes. Once your Mac is activated and your language model is downloaded, dictation, cleanup and meeting notes all work with no connection at all.
